Large two storey rear extension nearly doubling the footprint of the Ground Floor to provide additional living accommodation for the client’s growing family.  In line with the client brief, large apertures were incorporated in the design to capture the impressive views of the countryside.  This, together with the use of vertical cedar cladding and sedum roofing, achieved a contemporary vision.  The works also involved the refurbishment of the existing dwelling and the entire heating and electrical system was redesigned with new energy efficient lighting, a wood burning stove and underfloor heating to replace existing radiators throughout.
